These Messaging Terms describe the text-messaging (SMS) program operated by CNL Systems, Inc. ("CNL," "we," "us," or "our") and supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They apply to the appointment-related text messages sent to customers who book with a business that uses the CNL Systems booking platform.

1Program description

CNL provides a booking and payments platform to independent service businesses ("Businesses"), such as salons and barbershops. When you book an appointment on a Business's booking site and opt in (see Section 2), you may receive transactional, appointment-related text messages sent on behalf of that Business, including:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Appointment reminders before your scheduled time
  • Reschedule and cancellation notices
  • Payment receipts
  • One-time security codes (for example, password resets)

Messages are two-way — you may reply to confirm, reschedule, or cancel. This program sends transactional messages only. No marketing or promotional messages are sent under it.

2How you opt in

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box while booking an appointment on the Business's booking site. The box is unchecked by default and is not required to complete a booking. It reads:

Text me. I agree to receive recurring booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts from CNL Systems about my bookings at [Business Name]. CNL Systems operates the booking platform for [Business Name] and sends these messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See CNL Systems' Terms (https://cnlsystems.com/terms), Messaging Terms (https://cnlsystems.com/messaging-terms), & Privacy Policy (https://cnlsystems.com/privacy).

By checking the box and providing your mobile number, you consent to receive the messages described in Section 1 at that number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

3Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity — for example, the appointments you book and any reschedules, cancellations, or payments tied to them.

4Cost

Message and data rates may apply. CNL does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply.

5How to opt out (STOP)

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP — or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPTOUT, or STOPALL — to any message. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further messages from that number. Reply START to resubscribe.

6How to get help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at robertlemmon@cnlsystems.com. You can also reach us through our Contact page.

7Privacy — we do not share your opt-in data

We do not share or sell your mobile opt-in information or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information (including your phone number and text-messaging opt-in or consent data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to deliver the transactional messages you have requested, including sharing with our messaging provider (Twilio, Inc.) strictly to carry out that delivery. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

8Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and device, and not all carriers or devices may be supported.

9Changes to these terms

We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
