Stripe WisePOS E
Tap, dip, or swipe. A customer-facing screen handles tipping at the chair.

Every payment lands with you.
Card payments go straight into your own Stripe account, the same as your online bookings. We never take a cut of your sales.
-
Order it during signup, or any time after.
Once your Stripe account is connected, the shop opens right in signup, so you can order before you ever log in. Skipped it? The same shop lives in your dashboard under Terminal. Pair it in CNL when it arrives.

Sold by Stripe, at Stripe's price.
Either way, you're buying from Stripe: $249 for the WisePOS E today, a price Stripe sets, with their shipping and tax added at checkout. You see the total before you pay. We don't sell the reader, mark it up, or touch the payment.
Optional. You can take payments online with no reader at all.
§ the tip screen
The screen does the asking.
Prompting for a tip is the part most solo pros hate. On the reader, the customer-facing screen asks instead, and the client answers in private.
Our own payment records show what happens when the screen asks. At one CNL salon taking card payments at the chair, close to nine in ten payments included a tip, and tips averaged about 17% of the service price. Nobody asked out loud. The prompt did the work, the client picked an amount, and that was the whole exchange.
That's one salon over a few dozen payments, and we'd rather say so than round it into a slogan. It's a snapshot, not a guarantee. But it's first-party data from a working chair, and the pattern is plain: when a screen asks, most clients say yes.
Run the numbers for your chair.
Your average service price and your clients per week, against the rate above.
at the rate we have seen
$820 a month in tips
At that pace, the $249 reader covers its cost in about 2 weeks of tips.
This is arithmetic from one salon's observed rate, not a forecast. Tipping varies by service, area and clientele, and your numbers will be your own.

Take payments your way.
Online with no hardware, or at the chair with a reader you order from Stripe. Either way, $29/mo, flat, and no cut of your sales.
